Website Dutch National Softball Teams ready for 2011

Nederlandse tekst

AMSTERDAM (Netherlands) - As around the same time last year (the it was January 8), the official website of the Dutch National Women Softball Teams has been given a major update again with all the latest news and developments. Last year, the coverage on this site has been expanded with coverage of the Dutch National Junior Teams. In 2011, the coverage of all the Dutch National Softball Teams will continue. With this newest update, more than 750 items have been added to make the site ready for 2011. Included herein are 311 new photos and the addition or changes to 257 different pages on this site, plus the addition of 126 new pages.

Amongst the updates are the current prelimary rosters of the Dutch National Team, Dutch Junior Red Team and Dutch Junior White Team, the preliminary schedules for these three teams, additions and changes to the individual pages of players, who were on the rosters since 2008 and the addition of 57 new individual pages, including 52 players and five staff-members. Currently, there are 114 players on the three current rosters combined.

Since the beginning of last year, all pages that covered the activities of the Dutch National Softball Team were available in both the Dutch and English language. The pages of the Dutch Junior Teams are in Dutch only at the moment.

Starting with this update, there will be frequent updates again (almost weekly), almost immediately after completion of an activity, like you have been accustomed to since the start of this site in 2008. Next week, the Dutch National Team will get together again for the first time this year to start their indoor practice sessions in preparation of the European Championship in July/August in Italy. The newly compiled Dutch Junior Teams started their practice sessions already in November. Their first activity will be the Indoor Cup in Schiedam on January 14-16, to be followed by the Right To Play Future Stars Tournament in February. The Junior White-squad prepares for the European Cadets Championship in Belgium in August.

Of course, all information of the previous years remains accessible on this site.

So take your time and look around. The site is ready for 2011!
