First, Chantal Versluis reached on an error.
Lefthander Eva Voortman then took over for Junior-starter MariŽlle Vleugels and struckout the first two batters she faced, but then walked Solange Starrenburg.

The remaining two runs were scored in the fourth inning.
With one out, Chantal Versluis doubled and scored on a single by Britt Vonk, who then advanced on a wild pitch and scored by beating a throw to home on a comeback-grounder by Areke Spel to the pitcher.
