2013 --- On June 27, Chantal is one of the 17 players named to the roster of the Dutch National Softball Team for this years European Championship in the Czech Republic --- On July 10, in the fourth game of the European Championship vs. Sweden, Chantal hits her third double in four games, she scores twice and has two RBI's --- In the regular season, Chantal hits two homeruns in the first game of a double-header vs. Centrals on April 20 and another one in Game 2 --- Chantal hits .379 (53-for-140) with seven doubles, three triples and six homeruns, scores 54 runs and collecting 38 runs batted in --- With 43 stolen bases, she sets a new single-season record, leading the league for the fifth time in the last six years --- In October, Chantal is one of 23 players named to the preliminary roster of the Dutch National Softball Team for the 2014 season.

2012 --- On June 8, Chantal is one of 17 players named to the roster of the Dutch National Softball Team for participation in the World Cup of Softball (Oklahoma City, USA), a series of games in Seattle (USA) and the World Championship in Whitehorse (Canada) --- On July 7, Chantal is 2-for-4, hitting two homeruns, scores twice and has three RBI's in the fourth exhibition game against Washington LadyHawks Gold during a training camp in Seattle --- On July 17, she scores, doubles and has one RBI in a 13-0 shutout win against South Africa in the fifth game of the World Championship --- In the regular season, Chantal hits .467 (as does teammate Nathalie Gosewehr), which is only .003 points behind league-leader and teammate Virginie Anneveld --- Chantal is second in the league with 45 runs scored, ties for second place with 56 basehits, including three homeruns, but leads the league for the third season in a row (and fourth time in the last five years) in stolen bases (35) --- With Sparks Haarlem, she reaches the Holland Series again, but then the team is dethroned by Alcmaria Victrix --- In October, Chantal is one of 31 players named to the preliminary roster of the Dutch National Softball Team for the 2013 season.

2011 --- In March, Chantal participates with the Dutch National Team in the American Tour to Florida and Tennessee --- On March 8, Chantal is 2-for-5, scores a run and has two RBI's in the game vs. Central Michigan University --- Later the same day, she goes 2-for-5 with a double, scores twice and has three RBI's vs. St. John's University --- On March 10, Chantal hits 2-for-3 with a double and has one RBI vs. Central Connecticut State University --- On March 12, she is 2-for-2 and scores a run vs. Robert Morris University --- On May 15, Chantal has three runs batted in in the second game of the Holland Tour against the Holland All Stars at De Bilt --- On May 29, Chantal hits two of the team's three hits in the third game of the Holland Tour and the first of a double-header vs. the Dutch Men Softball Team --- In June, Chantal participates with the Dutch National Team in the Torneo 150 Anni Unitá d'Italia in Bollate (Italy) and therefore is a member of the team when it plays the 100th game in history against Italy on June 2 --- In this game, Chantal hits 2-for-4 and scores a run --- The next day, Chantal scores three runs vs. the Czech All Stars --- On June 26, Chantal hits two of the team's five basehits in the fifth game of the Holland Series and third of the year vs. the Dutch Men Softball Team --- On July 3, in the first game of a double-header (which was part of the Holland Tour) against the National Team of Argentina, Chantal is 2-for-4, including a 3-run homerun, scores once and had five RBI's --- In the second game vs. Argentina, Chantal went 3-for-3, including two triples, scored two runs and had four RBI's, which gave her a 5-for-7 performance on the day with nine RBI's --- On July 13, Chantal is one of the 17 players named to the roster of the Dutch National Softball Team for this years European Championship in Italy --- On July 31, Chantal leads off the game with a homerun adds an RBI-triple in the same at bat, going 2-for-3 with two runs and two RBI's in the first inning of the opening game of the European Championship in Italy --- The next day, she doubles and scores vs. Belgium and is 2-for-3 (double, triple) with one run and two RBI's vs. Spain --- On August 2, Chantal triples and scores vs. Denmark --- A day later, she doubles and scores a run against Great Britain, which is her 50th international game in the Dutch National Team --- On August 6, Chantal singles and scores twice in the final against Italy --- Later in August, Chantal participates with Sparks Haarlem in the European Cup-tournament in Caserta (Italy) --- In the regular season, Chantal hits .435 (third-best of her team) and leads Sparks Haarlem in runs scored (40) and stolen bases (26), she hits 37 basehits and has 11 runs batted in --- With her 26 stolen bases she leads the Dutch big league for the second year in a row and third time in the last four seasons, while 40 runs scored are also the most in the league --- In October, Chantal is one of 21 players named to the preliminary roster of the Dutch National Softball Team for the 2012 season.

2010 --- In January, Chantal participates with the National squad (playing for Team Blue) in the International Indoor Cup in Schiedam (Netherlands) with her team finishing in second place --- On January 18, Chantal is one of 21 players named to the preliminary roster for this years World Championships --- On May 23, Chantal singles, scores two runs and has two stolen bases in the first game, then adds a single, stolen base and run in the second game vs. the Foreign All Star Team --- On May 26, Chantal is one of 16 players who is named to the final roster for the World Championship in Venezuela --- On June 26, Chantal is 2-for-3 (including a homerun), scores once and has two RBI's in a 3-0 shutout vs. Cuba during the World Championship in Venezuela --- In August, Chantal participates in the Cup Winners Cup Tournament in Haarlem (Netherlands) with Sparks Haarlem, which wins the Cup after a come-from-behind victory in the last inning, scoring six runs to win 7-6 --- In the regular season, Chantal hits .363 with 33 basehits, including four doubles, four triples and two homeruns. Chantal leads the team with 37 runs scored and is second best with 24 runs batted in. Her 39 stolen bases are the most in the league, as are the two homeruns (sharing first place with Noémi Boekel and Karin Tuk) --- On October 31, Chantal is one of 24 players to be named to the preliminary roster of the Dutch National Softball Team for the 2011 season.

2009 --- Chantal changes her uniform number in the Dutch National Softball Team from 14 to 23, which last year was worn by Nina van Huissteden --- On May 3, during the opening game of the Holland Tour vs. Euro Stars, Chantal enters as a pinch-runner, then is 1-for-3 in the second game --- On May 6, Chantal hits an inside-the-park-homerun and scores twice in the second game against the Dutch Juniors --- On May 10, Chantal has two hits and scores a run in the second game vs. Centrals --- Chantal goes 2-for-3, scores twice and has an RBI in the second game vs. Gryphons on May 17 --- On May 27, Chantal is one of the 17 players who is named to the final roster for the Dutch National Team to participate in this years international events --- On July 8, Chantal hits the lone Dutch basehit in the second game vs. the USA, during the Canada Cup --- On July 16, Chantal singles and scores in the first game vs. Italy, which is the opener of the World Cup of Softball in Oklahoma City --- On July 20, Chantal scores twice and is one of four players to hit a homerun (2-run) in the second game vs. Italy during the World Cup of Softball in Oklahoma City, the others being Nathalie Gosewehr, Virginie Anneveld and Saskia Kosterink --- On July 27, Chantal is 2-for-2, scores twice and has two RBI's in the game vs. France, the opener of the European Championships in Valencia --- On August 1, Chantal is a member of the Dutch Team which brings the European title back to the Netherlands for the first time in 19 years --- After completion of the European Championships, Chantal is named the Team MVP of the Netherlands --- Two weeks later, Chantal participates with Sparks Haarlem in the CupWinners Cup Tournament in Parma (Italy) --- In the regular season, Chantal hits .260, scores 13 runs and has 10 runs batted in, while stealing 10 bases.

2008 --- On March 2, Chantal is 3-for-3, scores once and has one RBI in the second game vs. Chaminade University of Honolulu during the first American Tour of the Dutch National Team, which is part of the preparations for the Olympic Games in Beijing --- Is 2-for-2 on March 6 and scores twice in the game vs. Idaho State University during the Malihini Kipa Aloha Tournament in Honolulu --- During the second American Trip, in the second game vs. the professional team of Rockford Thunder on June 13, Chantal singles and scores the first Dutch run, but the teams ends up shorthanded, 3-2 --- On July 13, during the third and final game of the Holland Tour, Chantal scores the fourth and last run as pinch-runner in a 4-0 shutout vs. the Holland All Stars --- The next day, she is one of the players, who are dropped from the roster for the Beijing Olympics --- With Sparks Haarlem, the speedy infielder participates in the Cup Winners Cup Tournament in Italy --- In the regular season, Chantal hits .358 to lead her team Sparks Haarlem, while scoring 20 run and batting in 14. She leads the league by stealing 27 bases in 27 attempts --- On December 11, Chantal is one of 28 players being named to the preliminary roster of the Dutch National Team for 2009 and is invited to start practice in January --- On December 20, Chantal wins the Egbert van der Sluis Memorial Trophy, which is handed annually to the best national team player under 23.

2007 --- On May 28, Chantal singles and scores as a pinch-hitter in the 15-0 win vs. Greece during the European Championships in Amsterdam (Netherlands) --- The next day, she delivers another pinch-hit single in the 12-3 victory vs. Germany --- In the regular season, Chantal hits .376, trailing only teammate Noémi Boekel for the team's lead. She also ranks in the top with 23 runs, 35 basehits and 17 RBI's.

2006 --- Chantal makes her debut in the Dutch National Team during the Canada Cup --- In her first year with Sparks Haarlem, Chantal increases her RBI-total to 11, scores 15 runs and hits .256 --- After the season, she wins the Bep van Beijmerwerdt Trophy for Most Talented Dutch Youth Player --- With Sparks Haarlem, she plays in her first of two European Cup Tournaments, finishing in second place in Bollate (Italy).

2005 --- In her last season with Birds, Chantal hits .270 and sets a career-high with 17 runs and nine RBI's.

2004 --- In her second big league-season, Chantal reaches the .300 mark, finishing with a .301 batting average.

2003 --- Chantal makes her debut in the Dutch big league, playing for Birds in Zoetermeer, hitting .244.

Family
CHANTAL is the daughter of Fred and Karin Versluis. Chantal has one brother, Maikel.
