Dutch Team has a moment to relax

MOOKHOEK (Neth.) - The Dutch National Softball Team on Friday took a break in the action after an intensive period of playing and practice sessions. In nine days, the team played seven games, while the players also had to play four additional games with their club-team in the regular season. So on Friday, everyone traveled to Mookhoek, a small village near Dordrecht. There, we all enjoyed a great barbeque at the Tuk-family, the parents of player Karin Tuk.

But while this was a relaxing moment for the team, business went on as usual, as everyone got additional clothing from new sponsor Donnay, while the team management discussed ongoing affairs.

Again, today was a great day to be outdoors and the team had a wonderful afternoon and evening with great food. Through this, the team wants to thank Maaike and Jaap Tuk for their great hospitality in their home and the fantastic barbeque they prepared.

Tomorrow (Saturday), the team will be back on the field for the final game in the Holland Tour to be played at the site of Birds in Zoetermeer. There, the team will play a squad compiled of former national team-players, starting at 1:30 PM.
