Also on May 23, Karin represents Tex Town Tigers in the Homerun Contest during the Softball Gala 2010 in Haarlem ---

In the regular season, Karin scores nine runs and has 10 runs batted in, while hitting one of her team's four homeruns. Defensively, she is errorless in 227 fielding chances ---
Karin again reaches the Holland Series with Tex Town Tigers, which wins its second consecutive Dutch championship title.
2008 --- In her first season playing for Tex Town Tigers, Karin bats above .300 for the first time in her career, finishing with a .310 batting average and 26 basehits, while scoring 13 runs ---
After reaching the Holland Series, Tex Town Tigers becomes the first team from the east of the country to win the Dutch championship title ---
In August, Karin travels to China to attend the softball-tournament of the Olympic Games. One of her interests is taking sports-photos and she takes a lot in Beijing. Some of the photos participated in the Photo Contest of the International Softball Federation and on December 8, her photo of leaping Dutch centerfielder Saskia Kosterink was named the Overall Winner ---
On December 11, Karin is one of 28 players being named to the preliminary roster of the Dutch National Team for 2009 and is invited to start practice in January.
2007 --- In the Spring of this year, Karin is a member of the softball-team of Chipola College, which captures the national title in the NJCAA Division I National Championship, after the team first had captured the title in the State Tournament ---
After returning from the States, Karin rejoins Euro Stars and plays in 21 games ---
At Enschede, Karin participates in the World Junior Championships with the Dutch National Junior Team, which for the first time in history reaches the play-offs ---
When the season ends, Karin decides to play for Tex Town Tigers in the 2008 season.
2006 --- At the end of this season, Karin is going to the USA to study and play at Chipola College in Florida, together with Euro Stars-teammate Areke Spel.
2005 --- Karin again travels to the Antilles, participating in the Kingdom Games, which this year is held on Curaçao ---
In her second big league-season, Karin almost reaches .300 for the first time, finishing with a .290 batting average and 29 basehits.
2004 --- With the Dutch Junior Team, Karin captures the European title in France ---
Playing for Euro Stars, Karin makes her debut in the Dutch big league. Playing in 29 games, she registers 14 basehits.
2003 --- Karin gets her first international experiences when she is selected for the Dutch National Junior Team and travels to Aruba to participate in the Kingdom Games. She also participates later in the year in the World Junior Championships in China.

| KARIN is the daughter of Jaap and Maaike Tuk and has one brother, Rick, who played baseball for Tex Town Tigers in the First Division through the 2009 season. Rick now focuses on a career as a softball umpire. |
