New logo for International Softball Federation

PLANT CITY, Florida (USA) - The International Softball Federation (ISF) launched a new logo today and also changed its URL for its official website. The new logo is pictured at right.
In a release, the ISF states that the changes come after the conclusion of the Congress, which was held at the end of October in Venezuela.
As new executives were elected and a new constitution was approved, the ISF wants to move forward in a new direction.
,,This is an important step as we move forward with our sport'', said ISF President Don Porter.
,,Softball is a game for both sexes and for all ages and cultures around the world and is a sport that will prevail for generations to come.
As a result, it was important that we reflected those attributes with a contemporary logo that will sustain the ongoing changes and developments within our sport.''
Also the URL of the ISF-website has changed and can now be reached by www.isfsoftball.org.
