The Holland Tour was first set up in 2008 as part of the
preparations of the Dutch National Softball Team for the
Olympic Games in Beijing (China).
Since then, a new Holland Tour was scheduled every year to
promote softball in the Netherlands and give as much fans
the opportunity to see the Dutch Team in action.
In the first three Holland Tours, 41 games have been played
throughout the country.
For 2011, a 12-game schedule is planned.
