Day 18: Day off in Honolulu
HONOLULU (Hawaii, USA) - After some intense days of playing and traveling, the scheduled practice session for Saturday at the University of Hawaii was scrubbed to give the team a day off. Everyone could fill in the day he or she wanted. Most went walking around, did some shopping or went to the beach. However, because of the heat of the sun (it was hot again), no one stayed too long at the beach. But, whatever we did, it was a welcome relaxing day for all of us.
Tomorrow (Sunday), it's back to business, as the team will play another double-header, meeting the team of Chaminade University of Honolulu, then two days of practices are scheduled, before the next game is listed for Wednesday, playing vs. Point Loma Nazarene University. Then, when the fourth week of the tour to the USA starts, its the opening day of the Malihini Kipa Aloha Tournament at the site of the University of Hawaii. The Dutch team then will play five games in three days, before having another day off, which is scheduled before the day we will travel back home.
