2010 --- Playing in 32 games for Euro Stars, Daisy hits .224 in the regular season, scores eight runs and has eight RBI's, while being 6-8 as pitcher, striking out 66 batters in 86 1/3 inning ---
After completion of the season, Daisy retires.
2009 --- After pitching for her own team Euro Stars in the opening series of the Holland Tour, Daisy makes her debut in the Dutch National Softball Team on May 10, throwing two innings in relief of the second game vs. Centrals, retiring six batters in a row ---
On May 17, Daisy makes her first start in the national team in the opening game vs. Gryphons ---
On May 27, Daisy is one of the five players who is cut for the final roster for the Dutch National Team, she decides not to be an alternate ---
In the regular season, her first back with Euro Stars, Daisy is 6-7 with a 3.35 ERA and strikes out 61 batters in 79 1/3 inning.
2008 --- In her first and only season with Centrals, Daisy appears in 27 games, including 16 as a pitcher ---
After the season ends, Daisy decides to return to Euro Stars for the 2009 season ---
On December 11, Daisy is one of 28 players being named to the preliminary roster of the Dutch National Team for 2009 and is invited to start practice in January.
2007 --- With the Dutch National Juniors, Daisy participates in the World Junior Championships in Enschede. For the first time in history, the team qualifies for the play-off ---
In her first season with Euro Stars, Daisy plays in 32 games, including 21 as pitcher, throwing in 71 2/3 inning and finishing with a 6-6 record with one save ---
After this season, Daisy leaves Euro Stars to play for Centrals.
2006 --- At the end of this season, Daisy decides to switch from Birds to Euro Stars for the 2007 season.
2005 --- Daisy plays in her first full season on the highest level with Birds, collects 23 basehits, including seven extra-basehits, and bats .256 ---
This year, she is selected for the first time for the Dutch Nation Junior Team, with whom she participates on Curaçao in the Kingdom Games, the bi-annual sports event for young athletes from the Netherlands, Aruba and Netherlands Antilles.
2004 --- This year, Daisy plays in four more big league-games for Birds, while playing in the junior-squad of the club.
2003 --- Playing for Birds, at age 15, Daisy makes her big league-debut, appearing in only two games, but hitting 2-for-3. She also throws in one game, pitching three innings and earning a save.
2001 --- Daisy gains her first international experiences, as she partipates in the Little League World Series in the USA.

| DAISY is the daughter of Theo Verstappen and Ellen Willemsen and has one brother Danny and a sister-in-law, Desi.
Daisy's boyfriend is Youri Visser, who plays baseball for Birds, just as her brother Danny. In 2000, Youri pitched in two games for ADO in the Dutch big league. |
