| Why does softball has to return to the Olympics? | | | Softball is a very divers sport for which you need several qualities. Everyone tries to win the game with her qualities and that of the team. This is a nice principle and a big challenge and therefore this sport belongs in the Olympic Games |

2011 --- On May 15, Anne is one of 15 players that compile the Holland All Stars for the first double-header of the Holland Tour vs. the Dutch National Team at De Bilt ---
On April 16, in the first game of a double-header vs. Olympia Haarlem, Anne makes her debut in the Dutch big league ---
In her first season on the big league-level, Anne plays in all 28 regular season-games for Alcmaria Victrix.
She finishes the season with a .291 batting average (third best of the team), scores 10 runs, collects 25 basehits (including one triple) and has nine runs batted in.
2010 --- In January, Anne participates with the National squad (playing for Team Blue) in the International Indoor Cup in Schiedam (Netherlands) with her team finishing in second place ---
On January 18, Anne is one of five players to be cut from the active roster, but she remains eligible for future considerations.
2009 --- In October, Anne, who plays for First Divisionist Alcmaria Victrix, is one of eight players being invited to participate in the indoor practice sessions of the Dutch National Softball Team. On October 25, the players get a try-out and then Anne joins the team on November 1.
2008 --- In her second year playing for the Dutch Juniors, Anne is a member of the team that captures the European title in Deggendorf (Germany) ---
After completion of the event, Anne is named Most Valuable Player of the tournament ---
It's her second MVP-title of the year, as Anne also was named Most Valuable Player of the International Indoor Cup-tournament in January of this year.
2007 --- Anne makes her international debut playing in the Dutch National Junior Softball Team, with whom she participates in the Kingdom Games, the bi-annual multi-sport event for young athletes from the Kingdom of the Netherlands.
